The 41st edition of the Artisanal Creation Fair, organized by the Tunisian National Office of Handicrafts (ONAT), opened its doors this Friday at the Kram Exhibition Center. The event will continue until June 1, 2025, and brings together nearly 1,000 artisans, spread across some twenty exhibition spaces.
Inaugurated by the Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts, Mr. Sofiane Tekaya, the fair offers a rich program highlighting the diversity and richness of Tunisia's artisanal heritage. Thematic areas are designed around interior and exterior decoration, tableware, traditional rugs and weavings, Sejnane modeled pottery, as well as stands reserved for artisans with disabilities.
In his opening speech, the Minister emphasized that this annual event is an essential platform for bringing together artisans, professionals, designers, students, and support organizations. The latter will offer participants practical support, particularly in accessing incentives and support mechanisms established by the government for the artisanal sector.
